Kayla Schipper led the team in scoring with 14 points. Taylor Reiff added nine points. “Despite the score, our kids could have easily quit playing, but that is not the Whitko way. We are getting better each day and will continue to work hard,” said coach Rick Bragg. “Central Noble is one of the most talented and experienced teams in the state. We will use this game as a lesson and another step we are taking in this journey of being competitive.” The team will host rival Columbia City in the home opener Friday evening. The Lady Cats will travel to Churubusco Saturday. “I encourage the Wildcat Nation to come to our home opener and support this group of hard working players,” Bragg added.
